Jaguar will very likely introduce the successor of the legendary E-Type at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Called XE Roadster it will go against the Mercedes-Benz SLK, BMW Z4 and Porsche Boxster.
Jaguar boss Mike O�Driscoll told Autobild: �We have a great desire to build this car.� The XE will continue the new design line with a fierce look and a distinctive grille. Body of this small roadster will be made of aluminum and rumored engines will include a 5.0-liter V8 with 385 horsepower and in supercharged version an impressive 510 hp.
