2012 Volvo C30

Volvo had a dose-style high-segment hatchback range with the introduction of the C30 a few years ago. The four-seat C30 is based on the Volvo S40 sedan, which was abandoned - with the V50 family related - 2012. The C30 competes with other small luxury cars like the Volkswagen GTI and Mini Cooper S.

C30 has received greater scale in 2011, similar to the Volvo XC60 crossover and gives a modern look. One of the design elements most interesting in the C30 is its two-door hatch glass. Volvo says it gives the impression of opening inwards, and the spectators can see the control center dash from behind. Exterior features include:

- Headlamp washers and wipers available
- Available adaptive xenon high intensity discharge
- 17-inch T5
- 18-inch wheels of the T5 R-Design

Volvo says that four adults can fit inside the compact C30. Rear bucket seats are placed slightly inward of the front seats, which allows for greater forward visibility. In front, the dashboard has a central panel ultra thin, which integrates audio and climate. Interior features include:

- Cloth seats as standard, leather optional
- Standard dual-zone air conditioning
- Standard CD stereo with auxiliary socket
- Trip computer Standard
- Optional stereo upgrade
- Optional navigation system with traffic data in real time
- Backseat bending forward

- 227 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque
- Six-speed manual as standard
- A five-speed automatic optional
