2011 Jeep Wrangler

Overview
This off-road rock crawling emphasizes ride comfort, and when it comes to hard-core pioneer, is rarely equaled. Bodystyle include the Wrangler two-door, four-door Wrangler Unlimited, and both are available in five trim levels: Sport, Sahara, island, mountain and Rubicon. Includes the participation of Nissan Xterra and Toyota FJ Cruiser. The Wrangler was redesigned for 2007.



Exterior
Without a three-panel hardtop has removable sections above the driver, front passenger and rear passengers. The hardtop is body color on the models of the Sahara, black in others. The standard soft-top has been redesigned for 2010 to be removed more easily, according to Jeep. The side doors are available in full or half, removable and folding windshield. Exterior features include:

Interior
Vertical center console, dashboard has a new look, but the same formula as before, with high-mounted radio, air vents around everything and individually controlled air conditioning throughout. New steering commands available to operate the radio, cruise control and a speakerphone. Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited feature floor console, cupholders front and rear and block memory. Interior features include:

Under The Hood
A 3.8-liter V-6 is the only engine for the Wrangler two-door. The Unlimited gets its own 3.8-liter V-6 with horsepower and torque slightly. Off-road pillars include a non-independent suspension (solid front and rear) and a part-time four-wheel drive available with double locking differentials.

Other features include skid plates, tow package available and a bar available electronically disconnecting front stabilizer greater ground clearance. Wrangler Sport uses a standard four-wheel drive system with incorporation of a transfer case part-time two-speed use. Mechanical features include:

- 202 hp 3.8-liter V-6 with 237 lb-ft of torque
- Available part-time or full-time four-wheel drive
- Two-wheel drive versions available unlimited
- Six-speed manual transmission
- Four-speed automatic optional (standard on the Wrangler two-wheel-drive Unlimited)
- Disc brakes with four-wheel ventilated front and solid rear discs

Safety
The Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited features a standard electronic stability system with technology to mitigate Chrysler turnaround that can boost brakes individually in an attempt to prevent impending rollovers. Side airbags are optional for the front seats. Side curtain airbags are not available. Standard safety features include:

- Front airbags, optional side airbags
- Electronic stability control with rollover mitigation
- Brake Assist
- Smart key that immobilizes the engine in an attempted robbery
- All-speed traction control
- Anti-lock brakes, and off-road calibrations
